Why ChildCentric Solutions?

Ja’Lyric Giddens González, M.S.Ed, CDS

Long before entering education, Ja’Lyric was committed to lifelong learning. She translated that commitment into a passion for adult education. Every accomplishment propelled her forward to becoming a uniquely qualified consultant, advocate, and academic coach. In addition to being a certified paralegal with a specialty in family and education law, Ja’Lyric is a specialist in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Psychology. She holds a master of science in education and is certified in child development, adolescent behavior, child mental health, ASD family coaching, and neurodiversity coaching. Ja’Lyric is a member of the Council of Parents, Advocates, and Attorneys (COPAA). Ja’Lyric has also obtained State of Texas teaching certifications in eleven grade-range and content areas.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Ja’Lyric served many districts as a teacher and supported teachers as a graduate school professor. She has worked in multi-disciplinary settings in both public and private sectors. Her reach spanned a wide range of students, from pre-schoolers to adults, in continuing education.

ChildCentric Solutions was born from the idea that there is always a Child-Centric Solution to Adult-World Problems. It was created to make information available to families, no matter their circumstances. Ja’Lyric felt that once individuals reached a certain age, people just stopped teaching them. There is never an age to stop learning. Knowledge acquisition seems more necessary when we become parents, caregivers, and educators.

As a mother, Ja’Lyric found herself using the skills and knowledge she had acquired from years of studying how people learn and think to support her child. Now, she takes joy in not only consulting but also providing quality coaching to families, educators, and organizations. She brings extensive expertise in designing effective curricula, implementing research-based instructional strategies, and fostering holistic child development.

“If we can be intentional about the way we teach and learn, we will see that intentionality inspires. It inspires creativity, growth, confidence, and quality time.”
