Advocacy Begins
Lastly, advocacy begins. The process culminates in getting the opportunity to do what is best for child. To best service your family, we may need to communicate with campus staff, conduct an observation, or recommend assessments and evaluations. We will consult with you and coach you along the way. We will advocate for you and fight to effect change.
Education Advocacy
Special education advocates empower caregivers to navigate the educational system, ensuring they understand their rights and their child's needs. They provide personalized coaching on communication, legal frameworks, and how to articulate educational requirements. During Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, they guide discussions to consider all perspectives and help parents present their child’s strengths effectively. In disputes, advocates clarify options, suggest strategies, and assist parents in voicing concerns to secure necessary support. This comprehensive support enhances children's educational experiences and builds caregivers' confidence.
ASD Coaching
Parents & Family
ASD parent coaching offers vital support for families managing autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The sessions empower parents with strategies tailored to their child's needs, enhancing communication through active listening, non-verbal cues, and visual supports. Coaching also helps parents identify resources like services and community programs that aid their child's development, contributing to a long-term growth plan. Additionally, it focuses on behavior modification by recognizing triggers and encouraging positive reinforcement, reducing frustration for both parents and children. Ultimately, ASD parent coaching guides families with confidence and builds a community where children with ASD can thrive and parents feel empowered.
Neurodiversity Coaching
Neurodiversity coaching offers empowering support for you and your child, focusing on actionable, goal-oriented growth. By prioritizing non-clinical methods, it creates a safe space that celebrates individuality. Coaches collaborate with families to develop tailored strategies for educational challenges and social skills, unlocking pathways for success that honor your family's unique journey. Embrace this opportunity to build a supportive framework for well-being.
